Inspired by the gecko’s natural climbing abilities, the Defense Advanced Research Project Academy (DARPA) developed a wall climbing device—two handheld paddles–that allows soldiers to scale vertical walls. Casco Bay Molding’s silicone injection molding know-how contributed to these cutting-edge technological developments.
